Every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and wanted.The Underdog Society was founded in East Texas with one simple belief: because they matter.We rescue abandoned, neglected, and forgotten animals, providing the care, compassion, and second chances they deserve.Through rescue, rehabilitation, advocacy, and adoption, we work to give the animals others have overlooked a future filled with hope.We may not be able to save them all, but for the ones we reach, we can change everything.

Meet the People Behind The Underdog SocietyThe Underdog Society was founded by a mother-daughter team, Ashley Carnahan and Alondra Howard, who believe every animal deserves compassion, safety, and chance to be loved.What began with eight abandoned dogs on the side of an East Texas road became something much bigger: a commitment to standing up for the animals others have left behind.We're a small rescue with a big heart, built on the belief that every life matters.Because they matter. 🐾
